Training Conducted for the Press Ganey Improvement Portal

April 28th, 2016 | Clinical Connections

We are pleased to report that Press Ganey received over 1,700 completed CG CAHPS surveys from patients seen by the 25 community PCP practices currently implemented for AHP’s patient satisfaction surveying project. With so many practices now implemented, the focus of the project is now on training practices to access and analyze their performance data.

Laura Dogias, AHP’s Patient Experience Advisor at Press Ganey, is hosting a series of training webinars to introduce new users to features of the portal such as Quick Reports, Performance Reports, and customized dashboards. In addition to reporting features, the Improvement Portal offers access to community forums, on-demand webinars, and a comprehensive library of improvement resources that practices may adopt to improve patient satisfaction scores. One example of a simple, yet effective Improvement Resource is “The 15/10 Rule”- Make eye contact with a patient at 15 feet; greet the patient at 10 feet.” Click here to view a recorded webinar (may require Webex client download).

Laura is also the point of contact for individual practices looking for support and data analysis to determine opportunities for performance improvement. Practices are encouraged to work with Laura to improve on any facet of the survey, but particularly the access composite questions for which AHP is accountable under its payer contracts. If you have not received your logon credentials for the Improvement Portal, please contact Hilarie Hoyt, Press Ganey Account Manager at [email protected]. For questions about accessing your survey results in the Improvement Portal, contact Laura Dogias at [email protected].
