AHP and Golisano Children’s Hospital Featured for COVID-19 Vaccine Work

Tina Sosa and Stephen Cook showcased the collaborative efforts of Accountable Health Partners, Golisano Children’s Hospital, Monroe County Department of Health, and area primary care practices to vaccinate children against COVID-19 during fall 2021 in a recent article published by the Children’s Hospital Association. The collaborative, innovative, and equitable approach to vaccinating children ages 5-11 against COVID-19 has contributed to Monroe County having a higher percentage of vaccinated children than the national average. To date, children ages 5-11 in Monroe County are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at higher rates than the national average (41.6% in Monroe County vs. 31.1% Nationally).
