Fall Clinical Grand Rounds Focused on Adult and Pediatric Primary Care
October 31st, 2019 | Network NewsAHP held its 8th biannual Clinical Grand Rounds on October 30th with over 150 network providers attending the session at the Alumni Advancement Center. Focused on adult and pediatric primary care, the event included presentations from AHP’s Behavior Health Integration Team and Pharmacy Team, and Dr. Cindy Rand from Golisano Children’s Hospital.
Attendees heard from Manager of Pharmacy Services Erica Dobson, PharmD who presented a roundup of pharmacy information relative to the treatment of diabetes. The benefits of HPV vaccination relative to cancer prevention were the focus of Dr. Cindy Rand’s presentation, while Dr. George Nasra led the Behavioral Health Integration Team’s presentation on AHP’s emerging Universal Depression Screening initiative.
