Adult PCP Advisory Committee

The Adult PCP Advisory Committee is an advisory body to the AHP staff, Board, and other standing committees. In collaboration with AHP Staff, the Adult PCP Advisory Committee addresses internal and family medicine PCP-specific topics and concerns, shares best practices among colleagues, and makes recommendations that: improve communications between adult PCPs and network partners, enhance provider satisfaction with the AHP network and network offerings; and improve the delivery of primary care. The Adult PCP Advisory Committee will advise the AHP Board and other standing committees on the impact proposed AHP policies or initiatives may have on PCPs; on emerging topics relevant to delivering high-quality, value-based primary care; and on best practices for communicating with PCPs.
