AHP’s Pediatric Vaccine Toolkit
February 28th, 2022 | Network NewsCOVID-19 vaccines are already available for children ages 5-11 years old, and approval for use in children ages 6 months through 4 years old is expected in the coming months. In an effort to assist practices serving children that have not started in-office vaccination against COVID-19 for these populations, AHP has developed a toolkit designed to take practices through the process, starting at signing up to administer the vaccine and through reporting. Resources for handling vaccine hesitancy are also included. The toolkit currently features information on procedures for the 5-11 years old population and will be updated to include the 6 months to 4 years old population once the vaccine is available to them.
