Migraine Treatment Best Practices for ProvidersJuly 18th, 2019 | Clinical Connections
Highlighted here are the AHP Migraine Best Practices, created in collaboration with URMC Neurology and Primary Care. Included in this document are tips for identification and treatment of migraine, including nonpharmacological interventions and cost-effective pharmacological options (both acute and preventive). We have also included a presentation given by Dr. Heidi Schwarz, a URMC neurologist, discussing how to optimize treatment of migraine, including when to initiative abortive and preventive treatment and which agent to use based on available evidence and cost. We hope that these resources are helpful in your daily practice.
As always, we welcome any feedback or questions you may have.
