Change to PCP Inpatient Notifications
April 30th, 2021 | Network NewsCMS now requires hospitals to provide direct message notifications to PCPs regarding admissions, transfers and discharges. These electronic notifications will replace fax notifications for patients obtaining inpatient care at Strong Memorial Hospital, Highland Hospital and Thompson Hospital. If your practice does not have a direct address on file with URMC, you will still receive fax notifications. To provide or update your direct address, please email the following to the eRecord team:
• Practice Name
• Practice Address
• Names of providers and APPs
• Provider and APP unique NPIs
• EMR direct address
• Contact name and phone number for any questions
