Highland Hospital’s Department of Family Medicine is sponsoring a free course on the treatment of opioid use disorder on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Noyes Memorial Hospital, 111 Clara Barton St., Dansville, NY. The course was designed by the American Society of Addiction Medicine and can be taken by any physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant who works with patients with opioid use disorder and who wishes to obtain a waiver to prescribe buprenorphine in office-based treatment of opioid use disorders.
