Second Opportunity for LARC Training

December 5th, 2022 | Network News

On Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 5:30 to 6:45 pm, primary care and OB/GYN providers will have another opportunity to attend “Increasing Access to LARC for Your Adolescent and Adult Patients Through Evidence-Based Counseling and Practices,” a Zoom lecture presented by Rachael Phelps, MD, family planning expert and physician, Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York.  This session’s content is identical to the material presented at the November 17th training.

The 75-minute lecture and Q&A will include up-to-date information on evidence-based, patient-centered reproductive health counseling, available resources, and strategies for removing barriers to contraception access with a focus on long-acting reversible contraception (LARC).

This training is relevant for healthcare providers caring for both adolescent and adult patients, and attendance will satisfy a component of the 2023 AHP PCP Reward Plan for eligible providers. Register for the session here.
