2024 Gainsharing Distribution Underway
October 3rd, 2025 | NewsWe are pleased to announce that AHP has earned gainsharing for the 2024 performance year. At their June meeting, the AHP Board of Managers approved the distribution of 2024 gainsharing incentives following the same methodology as prior years, with 60% of the distribution awarded to PCPs, 25% to specialists, and 15% to hospitals. Gainsharing payments have been made to most practices as of October 2, 2025.
PCPs earn their portion of the 60% PCP gainshare through their performance under AHP’s PCP Reward plan, which holds providers accountable for performance in quality, cost-savings, and citizenship domains. For 2024, quality performance was monitored and rewarded at the network level to accommodate our transition to Health Catalyst.
Specialty practices received their gainsharing payment at the end of August.
