First Quarter 2017 Clinical Integration Payments Coming Soon
May 31st, 2017 | ArchivePrimary care practices participating in AHP gain sharing contracts can expect to receive their first quarter 2017 payments via postal mail in mid-June. Clinical integration payments are intended to compensate PCPs for actively supporting AHP’s clinical integration activities such as utilizing the Arcadia Analytics dashboard and participating in patient satisfaction surveying through Press Ganey. Clinical integration payments are based on attributed MVP and Excellus patients in the commercial and managed Medicaid lines of business. MVP Medicare Advantage patients will be included as well in the first quarter payment, with clinical integration payments for Excellus Medicare Advantage patients coming later in 2017. Patients are generally attributed to a physician based upon managed care PCP designation, or frequency of E&M services.
