CRC Screening Project Underway
January 17th, 2019 | ArchiveOur FIT kit initiative is now fully underway! As our Colorectal Cancer Screening Guidelines indicate, a colonoscopy should be the first line of screening, however the second line should be a Fecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) kit if a colonoscopy is not possible. While we are performing well across all our contracts on CRC screening, there are still 23,000 eligible patients in our network that have not been screened. The option of the FIT kit is intended to help reduce that number by giving patients an alternative to a colonoscopy. Through this initiative the first set of kits are provided to your office at no cost, and subsequent orders can be made at a discount through AHP’s group account.
