PCP Advisory Committee

Mission
The purpose of the PCP Advisory Committee or PCPAC is to serve as a forum for the PCP members of AHP and as an advisory body to the AHP staff, board and standing committees. The committee, in collaboration with AHP staff, will address PCP-specific topics and concerns, exchange information, and make recommendations that will: improve communications between PCPs and their network partners; enhance PCP satisfaction with the network; and improve the delivery of primary care. PCPAC will advise the AHP Board and standing committees on the impact to PCPs from proposed AHP policies or initiatives; on emerging topics relevant to the delivery of high-quality, value-based primary care; and on best practices for communicating with PCPs.

Meetings
The committee generally meets at 6:00 pm on the fourth Thursday of each month.
