2024 DICE Summer Brown Bag Series: The Department of Psychiatry, in partnership with the URMC Office of Equity and Inclusion, will host a series of Hybrid Events as an opportunity to learn about critical topics through a diverse lens in a safe space. In this year’s series, Creating Inclusive and Psychologically Safe Spaces, the purpose is to provide educational opportunities to learn about inequities surrounding our communities.
There will be eight sessions between July 10th and August 28th focused on all facets of inequity. This year, the focus is “Creating Inclusive and Psychologically Safe Spaces”. Registration is available for the series here.
Rochester Pride Parade and Festival: Although Pride Month is ending, the Rochester Pride Parade and Festival are taking place on Saturday, July 14th. Information about the parade, festival, and other Pride events during July are available here.
Moments of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Throughout the Year: The AHP Equity Council is excited to share a new one-page document highlighting important dates and events each month. This resource aims to educate our network about key moments in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and their connection to health equity.
