Welcome Robin Schepp, LMSW to the AHP Care Management Team
August 31st, 2021 | Network NewsRobin Schepp, LMSW joins AHP with many years of experience in the social work field. Early in her career she held jobs working in various settings with the intellectually disabled population including individuals with traumatic brain injury. She transitioned to working with adolescents and families through residential treatment facilities where she assisted teens transitioning back into the community. Robin spent most of her career working in maternal child health. She spent seven years working in a community-based program supervising community health workers providing services to high-risk pregnant mothers, followed by a stint at community OB-GYN clinic as the primary social worker assisting patients with a variety of needs. Robin was trained in the Rose Project and has offered this postpartum depression prevention program to many patients over the last two years to prevent postpartum depression.
Robin is excited to join AHP as a pediatric care manager. She is currently working with Stony Brook Pediatrics and Eastside Pediatrics, and she looks forward to expanding her skills and supporting this population.
