NCQA Request for Public Comment: Proposed New HEDIS Measures and Existing Measure Changes
March 3rd, 2025 | NewsEach year, the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) invites public feedback on proposed changes to HEDIS measures. This provides a valuable opportunity for healthcare stakeholders to weigh in on the relevance, scientific validity, and feasibility of the measures.
The current Public Comment Period began on February 13th and will close by 5:00 pm (ET) on March 13th. Fourteen topics are open for public comment, covering new measures, changes to existing measures, measure retirements, and a cross-cutting topic. You can find more details and submit comments on the webpage here.
Since HEDIS measures developed by NCQA directly affect the performance standards for our network, the public comment period offers a meaningful chance to contribute to the process.
