New Leadership Positions for Pediatric Care Management

Two recent promotions in our care management team will ensure that the team continues to function effectively as members of our practices’ care teams as they benefit from more direct leadership and clinical supervision.
Robin McElligot, LCSW
Program Director, AHP Pediatric Care Management and Social Work
After leading several clinical programs at Hillside Children’s Center, Robin joined the AHP team in May 2015 as a pediatric social worker providing care management support across the region to patients with complex behavioral health, developmental and medical complexities.
In her new role, Robin will oversee the entire pediatric care management program and social workers across the AHP Network. Robin commented, “It is my goal to continue to build and develop an exceptional and highly skilled social work team across our network to support the very complex needs of patients and families and to provide evidence-based, holistic care to those most in need.”
Nancy Bellush,BSN, RN
Senior Pediatric Care Manager for Quality Improvement
Nancy joined the AHP team in 2016 as a pediatric care manager providing support for children and adolescents with complex medical, behavioral health and developmental needs especially as they navigate across the health care system.
In her new role, Nancy will work with AHP’s Associate Medical Director for Pediatrics, Dr. Laura Jean Shipley and Pediatric Quality Improvement Manager, Meagan Fournier-Boome, to lead and implement a pediatric quality improvement plan that includes a focus on Lead Point of Care testing, increasing access to LARC, transitioning adolescents to adult care, reducing missed well child checks and support for the First 1000 Days initiative.
