Spine Care Training Program Offered
May 31st, 2023 | NewsExcellus BlueCross BlueShield has announced an update to their nationally recognized spine program collaboration with Spine Care Partners, LLC. Updated clinical research, coupled with direct interactions with Stanford, UCSF, Duke, and U Pittsburgh, among others, has aided the creation of the fully online and on-demand workshop.
The program aims to engage early-contact practitioners and patients in a biopsychosocial, evidence-based, patient-active spine care pathway that improves clinical outcomes and guides the appropriate use of health care resources related to spine care.
As part of the Spine Health Program 2.0 rollout, Primary Care Providers specializing in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine (MD, DO, NP, PA) are now eligible to receive a $200 Honorarium after completing the 90-minute self-paced online workshop. Providers can receive 1.5 Category 1 AMA Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits for completing the free program. Interested providers can view the flyer for more information or register here.
