2020 Contracted Metrics Available in Arcadia
July 21st, 2020 | ArchiveAs providers may already have noted as they log in to the Arcadia dashboard, AHP’s 2020 measure grid is more concise than it has been previously. This new grid focuses on key tenets of primary care, but with fewer measures we are better able to focus on optimizing performance. This simplified grid reflects efforts to align metrics across payers and across lines of business while removing those measures for which small sample sizes and changing measure definitions impact performance negatively. Among the metrics excluded in 2020 are Appropriate Treatment of Childhood Pharyngitis and Appropriate Treatment of Bronchitis.
We have also tried to achieve greater balance in metrics related to pediatric and adult populations. Additionally, we have partnered with our payers to achieve collaboration credit for our work around quality improvement and cost-containment initiatives such as pharmacy prescribing efforts and our readmissions reduction initiative.
