Maternal Mental Health Training Through Project TEACH

This spring, Project TEACH is offering two trainings on maternal mental health designed specifically for Ob/Gyn and Primary Care providers. The expert-led trainings include a one-hour webinar on May 9th about the generational impact of maternal mental health and an intensive three-hour program on May 16th designed to enhance Primary Care provider and Ob/Gyn assessment, treatment, and management skills. Continuing medical education (CME) credits are available, and the trainings are free for providers in New York State.

Project TEACH provides consultations to obstetric, pediatric, primary care, and psychiatric clinicians, offering mental health expertise specific to pregnant and postpartum patients. The program is funded by the New York State Office of Mental Health, and services are provided by psychiatric specialists at seven organizations across New York State.
