AHP Staff Members Participate in Family Promise Event to Strike Out Homelessness
March 31st, 2023 | Network NewsFamily Promise of Greater Rochester held its 4th Annual Strike Out Homelessness Bowl-a-Thon, an event that supports families facing homelessness. AHP staff members representing the Pediatric and Adult Care Management teams, Optimization team, and the Equity Council, participated in the event as bowlers or part of the AHP cheer team. Community members and organizations helped raise $30,676 toward Family Promise’s mission to assist families at risk of or experiencing homelessness to achieve sustainable independence by providing person-centered, holistic services in collaboration with the greater community. The funds raised will help families avoid eviction, provide emergency shelter, and follow families for up to a year after shelter through several support services.
