ECHO Autism and Developmental Disorders Series Begins October 8th

September 30th, 2021 | Archive

The Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Golisano Children’s Hospital announces an opportunity for providers to participate in a new round of ECHO Autism and Developmental Disorders starting October 8th.  A twice-monthly virtual learning network, the ECHO model focuses on how to address the needs of children and youth with autism in the primary care setting through participatory case discussion and problem solving and brief targeted didactics. This fall, the brief talks will include topics like deciphering the system of school services, and behavioral and medical treatment of ADHD in the context of autism among others.

ECHO is an exciting way to increase skills and confidence in identification and ongoing care of children with autism and other developmental disorders, while also having regular access to U of R’s Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics Team and earning free CME!  Additional information about ECHO Autism and Development Disorders can be viewed below.  Click here to register.
