AHP Contracts with Highland Hospital Health Plan
October 28th, 2016 | Network NewsWe are pleased to announce that AHP has been selected to serve as the Tier One Network for the Highland Hospital employee health plan. Starting on January 1, 2017, nearly 4,000 Highland Hospital employees and their families who are covered by Highland’s health plan will be incentivized through lower copays and coinsurance to access care from AHP providers. Many of these patients will be calling your offices to ask if you are an AHP participating provider, so please make sure that every member of your staff in a position to answer patient questions knows to answer “Yes, we are in AHP!”
Highland’s health plan joins Thompson Health and the University of Rochester in partnering with AHP to care for their employees and dependents. In an effort to support you in understanding the unique aspects of these plans and prepare you for questions from their patients, we have scheduled a webinar on Wednesday, December 7th from 12:15-1:00pm. All providers, practice managers, front-end staff, and billing staff are invited. Invitations with teleconference and gotomeeting details will be sent out closer to the meeting date.
