Updated June 13, 2022: NYSDOH Ordering Guidance for COVID-19 Vaccine for Children 5 Years Old and Younger
June 3rd, 2022 | Vaccine•Pediatric Vaccination Toolkit•News•COVID-19•Covid PediatricsIf you previously placed a Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 pediatric vaccine for 6m-5y pre-order back in February and it shows a status in NYSIIS of “sent to CDC”, you will need to place a NEW pre-order by following the attached instructions. To clarify, previously submitted pre-orders from February are not being filled by CDC.
Pre-ordering is NOT required. You may choose to wait for full EUA information and clinical considerations to order, but should know that those orders may not arrive until late June/early July.
Updated pre-order delivery date estimates have been received from CDC. Assuming FDA Authorization and CDC recommendation are both made by 6/18/22, pre-orders may deliver as outlined below.
