AHP’s Pharmacy Team is Growing!July 18th, 2019 | Clinical Connections
AHP is excited to welcome Katie Diehl, a board certified ambulatory care pharmacist, to our Pharmacy Team. Originally from Buffalo, NY, Katie and her husband, Chris, moved to Rochester, NY in 2013. Katie earned her doctorate of pharmacy degree from the University at Buffalo in 2012 and then went on to complete a PGY-1 ambulatory care pharmacy residency program at Buffalo Medical Group, P.C. Prior to coming to AHP, Katie was an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist at the Greater Rochester Independent Practice Association for 5 and a half years and also the primary preceptor/site coordinator for a PGY-2 ambulatory care pharmacy residency program through St. John Fisher College of Pharmacy. In addition, Katie currently holds adjunct faculty appointments at both the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and St. John Fisher College of Pharmacy. Katie has a strong clinical background in the management of diabetes, including insulin pump management, as well as the outpatient management of other chronic disease states such heart failure and COPD. When not at work, Katie enjoys singing and spending time with her husband, two children, and her dog, Bentley.
Katie will be working alongside Erica Dobson and Jenny Radcliffe on AHP’s pharmacy initiatives and looks forward to meeting and working with all of our providers.
