Changes to the Excellus Spine Care Honorarium for Chiropractors and Physical Therapists
December 20th, 2023 | Quality•NewsEarlier this year, we shared an update on Excellus BlueCross BlueShield’s nationally recognized spine program collaboration with Spine Care Partners, LLC, which included the expansion of the honorarium program to Physical Therapists (PTs) and Chiropractors. In 2024, PTs and Chiropractors will no longer be eligible to receive the $200 honorarium for completing the two-hour, online, and on-demand Spine Training Update. Physical Therapists and Chiropractors are encouraged to complete the program before the honorarium expires on December 31, 2023. Primary care providers in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine will continue to receive the honorarium in 2024.
