Dr. Edward Lewis Featured in the New York Times

Many providers in the AHP network have inquired about best practices for the treatment of obesity in patients across the lifespan, including the use of medications to manage the disease. In response, AHP’s Pharmacy team recently released an Update on Pharmacological Treatment for Obesity and has shared information on the use of GLP-1 Receptor Agonists for Weight loss in the past.
Additionally, this year’s Clinical Grand Rounds featured a presentation by Dr. Stephen Cook, Associate Professor, Department of Pediatrics, UR Medicine, who reviewed the AAP’s new guidelines on pediatric obesity.
