The Finger Lakes Rural Immunization Initiative (FLRII) is offering one-hour workshops titled “Changing the Conversation” designed to help address low rates of COVID-19 vaccination in rural communities through education and facilitated conversations. The FLRII is a 16-month initiative funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and housed at URMC’s Center for Community Health & Prevention.

Training and workshops about engaging with the community and guiding conversations will take place via Zoom across nine counties in the Finger Lakes Region. Groups are encouraged to sign up. Attendees who participate and complete the evaluations are compensated with a $150 honorarium.
